Mathspace contains over 14000 videos, 60,000 plus interactive questions, over 600 textbooks and 292,000 step by step hints. Apps are available for Apple and Google play. Professional development for teachers is provided within the platform in a range of ways including recorded webinars for instance to support blended learning using Mathspace.

From a student perspective the platform builds confidence so that students are able to learn from their mistakes. It can give progress checks to show students that they are on track and offers hints and next step support as students work on problems. The platform continues to test for understanding of content two years below and one year above the student’s level.

Video lessons created by teachers support the program. Real time activity reports allow teachers to monitor student performance and identify students who are struggling. Tasks can be assigned in advance by teachers and automatic grading can save teacher marking time.
